Faces of V 1-Laq

I was going through my inventory, and noticed all the skins I have collected over time. I don't get to wear these skins a lot of times, but I really wanted to show each of these skins. So I decided to do a series of pictures on sets of skins that I have from different makers. The first set is Laq. I will also include a little story with each skin, so you know my reasons for purchasing it. I will try to keep my internets add under control for this series and actually finish it. *Crosses Fingers*

Pearl-Fair-Laq

This was my first actual Laq skin purchase, Before this skin every time I would try Laq it wouldn't look right on me. This was the first Laq skin that made me want to lick my screen cause I was so in love with it. I loved the face how soft it was yet it had striking features, and it didn't make my mouth look strange. Like most Laq skins did with my shape before this.

Elena-Ebony-Laq

My next purchase at Laq was this Elena Skin. I was looking for a good dark skin, and a lot of times it is really hard to find a decent dark skin tone. I remember seeing people with dark Laq skins with wonderfully realistic dark skin tones, and that is when I found elena. I got her in a ebony which is my fav laq dark skin tone. I really really love the mouth on this one.

I remember when this skin came out, everyone was raving about it on plurk. I saw the eyebrows on it, and dashed to laq to get it. I love love love love love...Did I say love this skin. *Giggles* I don't know what it is about it, but it is just so yummy to me. I think it's the heavy eyebrows. I love this skin so much I got it in two skin tones. I'm wearing the ebony skin tone right now as my main skin of the summer.

That's about it for now. Just a little blurp on the faces I have worn.

I'm loving the spring commercial that I have been seeing so far this season, and especially the music with the commercials. They have been using a lot of indie bands lately, and that has just made my heart totally sing. The reason it's singing is because when a commercial comes on I have seen million times it doesn't totally drive me insane. Cause it has a song on I love. Day 3-Disney Tree Lighting…And hair!

December is an up and down month for me. It can be extremely busy at one point, and then get to the place where everything slows down. Then I get to relax and enjoy the holiday season. Right now I don’t have a whole lot to say, but i’m thinking about december in high school. I always had like a million things going on. Mostly the big madrigal dinner that my chorus would put on. I always loved those, because it was fun to dress up and sing at the tables for. Also the big concert at the end was always fun. The best year in chorus was when we were picked to sing at disney world for the tree lighting ceremony, I loved that trip soooooo much. Even though Epcot center was boring, but it was fun to be with all of my friends from school. That was one of those trips were you tried to hold on to every memory that you can before it’s over. Then poof…you are back at the school in the parking lot, and your mom is waiting for you to get off the bus.

My song for this memory is the main song from the musical “Hair” one of my friends made me listen to the whole soundtrack Cd during the trip and I feel in love with it

Xmas Memories Challenge Day 2-Two Of Us….

I think when you are able to find a friendship that lasts…you have a very good thing. It’s so hard to find the type of friends that stay with you for the long haul. You have to sort through so much…but when you find a friendship that just fits…it’s amazing. You should cherish those friendships doesn’t matter if they are real life or sl, those are important relationships..and they are so rare. Anyalia Pearl is that type of friend for me. I met anya around um…like over 5 years ago. We didn’t talk at first, our circle of friends made it so we never really got to talk. I was friends with a girl who wanted to have sex with her boyfriend, so that made things kind of sticky. Then a merger happened..where i ended up in the circle of friends that she was in…and then we started talking to each other. Once we started talking…me and anya were like peas and carrots. We always tried to work the same shifts or extra time so we were able to get through work. We started our own lame book club when we were supposed to be taking calls, and we would avoid calls to discuss the book we were reading between chapters. We weren’t good employees at all…but hey…..it was fun lol

Now here is the xmas memory. I remember anya playing her video game, and me sitting next to her looking at a magazine. I would normally be telling her how much of a dork she was for playing the game, and that’s sooooooooo freaking ironic lol. Then we some how got into a convo about Lisa Frank. If you don’t know Lisa Frank is this glitter girly wonderland of stationary, stickers, pens, EVERYTHING! Super cute, and a must have. Well we hit a new point of bonding cause we shared a love for Lisa Frank products even though we were both adults, and that was soooo major. We then said that was what we wanted for xmas from each other, and sure enough….she gave me a Lisa Frank product…and I did the same for her. This proved our friendship would last…no matter what..and it did. I’m very happy, and grateful I have anya in my first life as my best friend…and I can share that best friendship in our second life. That’s a big reason I enjoy this game so much…even with my best friend being 3000 miles away….I can log on every night…stand up right next to her…and have fun with her like she is right next to me.

Hello again….

Well I was waiting for me to flake out, and not post another personal blog for like 5 months. Bam! I’m not flaking and doing a new blog lol. I think blogging scares me a lot, cause so many people put out flawless beautiful blogs. I’m not the best photographer or photo editor, so I was always afraid that my pictures would not be on the level of what others expect in a sl blog. I’m also a person that will randomly go on about a subject, and forget what my purpose is here in the first place. Like I just did ha lol. I’m not perfect, and I don’t think I could pretend to be perfect even if I tried. I like to say i’m perfectly imperfect, a total geek, and blah hehe. I do like sharing pieces of me with others, and sl has been a very big part of my life, so why not blog about it. Since it’s almost xmas time…I decided to do a little blogger challenge. Since I know that many people don’t look at my blog, that challenge with be mostly with myself lol. I do challenge anyone reading this that is apart of sl to take part and it should be fun to see what people come up with. My challenge is the countdown to xmas memories challenge. Each day until xmas I’m going to share a memory from xmas past, and also a song that I would use in a soundtrack for that memory. Well it's time for part 2 of the Albero Gatcha Fall Festival, and we decided to do something a little different this time. We decided to make 3 different gatcha vendors, and each of them have seperate prizes.

.Inner Bohemian MakeuP.

I've been into a serious bohemian mood lately, and that was the inspiration for these make ups. Bowen has created 6 Different make ups. 1 is movie inspired, 1 is music inspired, and the rest is inspired by tribal art. (I'll let you guess which ones are movie and music inspired). Each one is 15 ls, and only 2 of the make ups are rare. The names for the make ups are from terms that apply to the bohemian lifestyle.

.Boho Vintage tote and clutch.

You can never have too many bags. This is something that I highly believe, and I wanted to make some totes and clutches. You are able to try you luck for anyone of these for only 20 ls each. The textures are vintage bohemian inspired for both the bag and the clutch.

.Kawaii Gemu Pillow.

Super Kawaii starting now :D This is just a fun pillow for when you just feel the need to hold a giant candy colored game. also the game face is always smiling at ya. You are able to try your luck at any one of these wonderful hot colors for only 25 ls each.

Now remember every item in the gatcha fest are transferable, and if you aren't able to get the color. Ask your friend what color they happen to get, and maybe you can make an awesome trade.

The Karma Sweater

Well fall is here and that means that it's time to once again bundle up. Tasty has just released a Cozy Lowcut sweater that is availible in 5 Different Colors for only 65 ls each and 295 for the fat pack. It's called "Karma" cause today is John Lennon's 70th Bday, and anyone who knows me knows I'm a hardcore Beatles Fanatic, so I thought would name this after his song "Instant Karma".

Imagine Cami

Next we have the "Imagine" Cami, and it comes in 4 different colors. Each other is only 50 ls, or for the fat pack it is only 180. This is of course also named after a Lennon song. Well I think you know the rest :D

New Glasses-Both of these glasses were part of snf at one point, and I decided to put them out in the store after a few request looking for them. The glasses are only 50 ls each.

I have finally gotten all of the new releases done for this week, and now I'm able to blog all of them. First we have the instore new releases. Which include a new dress, bikini, and mini skirt.

Lucccccyyyyy Dress!

also as a preview of the lucy dress for this week only the pink polka dot lucy dress is only 5ls and the tasty treat for this week. The reg price of the dress is 100 ls.

Next is the Margot halter bikini with sculpted lower sash for those who want to be modest on the beach, and the Cupcake Sculpted Mod Mini skirt. The Mini skirt is 50 ls each and the margot bikini is 40 ls each.

Well tonight I was bored again and ended up hanging in the dork neighborhood, and had a wonderful random time...so much random fun...I had to take out the video camera cause we all know the rules on the internet...if there is no footage....it didn't happen. I should have taped the bus crash to hell...but i was too busy trying to not get sick on the bus that I forgot to take it out.

All weekend we have been on this Step brother’s kick on sl, and I really wanted to do a collab comedy video. I contacted Kawaiinicole about it and her gears started turning and now we have the sl version of boats and hoes. I laughed so hard editing this video…no joke…like I had to stop 3 times and pass the headset over to bowen so he can see what was cracking me up so much. I love doing stuff like this on sl…just getting together and having a good time being totally silly. That is one of the things that I really love about the game…all the silly random fun times….Under the video i’ll have all the girls names that were in the video….and as i say in the video…we don’t crash the boat at the end like in the movie :D <3
